The eighth Tomorrow‘s Engineers Week will take place in the first week of November it has been announced.
The Week will place an emphasis on providing inspiring and exciting opportunities for young people to experience the world of engineering on digital and social media platforms.
A packed calendar will see engineering institutions, employers and schools come together to deliver inspiring activity to show young people the vital importance of engineering careers and deliver advice about how to become an engineer in the future.
Activity already confirmed includes young engineers taking over social media channels and a Big Schools Quiz.
On Wednesday 4 November, the Royal Academy of Engineering will stage its annual This is Engineering Day.
In the past three years alone, Tomorrow’s Engineers Week has seen over 100,000 young people take part in interactive engineering school assemblies, almost half a million views of inspiring films about engineers on a mission to make the world a better place, hundreds of millions of social media content views and widespread media coverage.
Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (#TEWeek20) takes place from 2-6 November 2020 and highlights to young people that engineering is a creative, problem solving, exciting career that improves the world around us.
