Events aim to help women into boardrooms

A series of virtual events throughout England, Mexico, the USA, Spain and Switzerland will kick-off a fresh drive to help women to become members of the boards of organisations across the globe.

Supported by the latest statistics as well as international research, speakers from around the world will present a global perspective to understand the impact women make on corporate boards, and how to overcome the barriers they face to getting there.

The events begin on 12 November with The Global Conversation on Board Diversity, while the UK Conversation on Board Diversity will take place on 19 November at 5pm featuring inspiring speakers from PWC, LinkedIn and Air France.

The UK conversation will feature inspirational speakers and small group mentoring, with the chance to ask questions and get advice on what to help women in business achieve their potential. Sign up is free online: https://london2020wob.eventbrite.co.uk

The events are organised by 2020 Women on Boards, a leading education, research and advocacy campaign that accelerates the global movement toward gender balance on corporate boards of directors.
