Global Health Specialists Team Up With Charity To Promote Access To Education In China

Global health and nutrition company, H&H Group, has today announced a new partnership with Couleurs de Chine (Colours of China), a Paris-based NGO that promotes access to education for disadvantaged young girls in the Guangxi region in China.

The H&H Foundation – H&H Group’s charity arm – will help support 15 young girls in the Great Miao mountains through their high school journey with a donation of €27,000 to cover their school fees between 2023 and 2025.

Since 1998, Couleurs de Chine has helped to educate more than 12,000 young girls of Miao, Dong and Yao minorities, build or renovate 80 schools, and carried out close to 250 projects for better teaching, study, safety, and hygiene conditions for children.

Through this partnership, the combined efforts of these organisations aim to enhance gender parity in education. Global estimates from UNICEF show 129 million girls are out of school, and only 24% of countries have achieved gender parity in upper secondary education.

Pascale Laborde, Chief Growth and Sustainability Officer at H&H Group, said:

We’re proud to join forces with Couleurs de Chine to help improve access to school and university for young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through the partnership, we endeavour to enhance the wellbeing of these children and their families, and support pathways to a brighter future.”

Virginie Duret, President of Couleurs de Chine, said:

“H&H Group joins the 30 patrons of European, American, and Chinese origin supporting our association. Couleurs de Chine is very happy to celebrate this valuable support coming from the international company, founded in the province of Guandong, bordering the province of Guangxi where our association has been based for 26 years. We thank them for their generosity towards our children and their commitment to our cause.”
