Blue Monday set for positive makeover

A special one-day conference will attempt to turn the most depressing day of the year, into the most inspiring.

So-called “Blue Monday” has been calculated by some psychologists as the 21st January and is said to be the most depressing day of the year.

But campaigners believe it doesn’t have to be this way. A new non-profit organisation has set up a conference at Leicester Square Theatre for other charities and campaigners. At the event campaigners will have the chance to learn from the most iconic brands, successful businesses and creative leaders, Oscar winners and world record holders.

All the speakers, such as Oscar winner Bryan Fogel and adventurer Sean Conway, are set to share their knowledge and expertise and help attendees create positive social change in 2019.

The event is hosted by TV Presenter, Fiona Phillips. It has been created by Chris Ward from Blue Dot World, a not-for-profit business. He said:

I saw a charity leaders survey that concluded to really achieve substantial results, they collectively believed the sector needed to learn more from successful commercial businesses. I have used my experience and contacts, across both sectors, to create Blue Monday Live and hopefully provide that opportunity.
