Rooftop TV: Episode 9 – Beach Cleanups, Missing People, Keeping Fit

The home of good news worth shouting about, The Rooftop, has launched a new weekly broadcast series called Rooftop TV.

Featuring a roundup of the week’s top good news stories, the programme shines a spotlight on the issues that matter and the campaigns that are making a positive difference to people’s lives.

In this week’s show, Tom York interviews Arjun Sharma, a 16-year-old student from Hawaii, who is using his talent for coding to help tackle the global problem of plastic pollution. Arjun has just launched Clean My Beach, an app that enables organisations and individuals to arrange and participate in beach cleanup events all across the world.

Also in the episode, Simon Francis shares news about charity Missing People’s Zoom call appeal. And we hear about the Mobi Game sporting duo from Cardiff who have launched a series sports classes adapted for people who live in care homes.
