Ageing Well Celebrates the First National Ageism Awareness Action Day ‘See and Be Seen’.

Ageing Well, a programme of services and activities for people aged 50+ in Brighton and Hove, led by Impact Initiatives, is hosting an exclusive event on 20 March to celebrate The Centre for Ageing Better’s first national ageism awareness action day, ‘See and Be Seen’.

The event, scheduled to take place aboard the i360 followed by a tea and pastries gathering at the Hilton, aims to highlight the importance of combating ageism and ensuring that people aged 50 + feel valued and visible in society. Ageing Well is delighted to offer the opportunity for over 100 older people to attend this remarkable occasion, showcasing its commitment to fostering positive ageing in the community.

Attendees will embark on a 9:50 AM ride on the i360, followed by a gathering at the Hilton from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. The event promises to be a memorable experience, offering people aged 50 + the opportunity to connect, share stories, and celebrate the vibrant spirit of ageing well in Brighton and Hove.
