Funding available to support refugee inclusion

Spring Impact has opened applications for a fully-funded training programme designed to equip social leaders working on supporting refugee inclusion in the UK with the tools to improve their scaling strategies and achieve sustainable impact at scale.

Every day, the number of people displaced by conflicts, disasters, climate change and the risk of persecution is growing. According to UNHCR, as of November 2022, there were over 231,000 refugees in the UK and 127,000 pending asylum applications. But once they are granted refugee status and other forms of protection, individuals face significantly reduced support.  In fact, refugees are confronted with  daily, substantial  hurdles  that affect their ability to integrate into UK society.

The new edition of Spring Impact’s Lean Impact for Scale Training Programme helps mission-driven leaders tackling these issues build their scaling strategies and iteratively develop or refine solutions for scaling up their vital work. So that, ultimately, more refugees can access housing, income, education, community, and the support they need to rebuild their lives in the UK.

The programme is aimed at senior leaders and key decision-makers within growing or mature mission-driven organisations which are dedicated to assisting refugees in securing housing, income, education, fostering community connections, and/or promoting entrepreneurship, and are ready to reach their next level of scale.

Applications are open until 15 April. The first step of the application process involves a short eligibility quiz. Eligible candidates will then receive an invitation to complete and submit their application. Find out more here.
