Rooftop funders listed as top social enterprise

Communications and PR firm Campaign Collective has been included in the 2020 Social Entrepreneurs Index, a list of the top social enterprises in the UK.

The UK Social Entrepreneur Index is a celebration of entrepreneurs running businesses with social purposes, with the aim of providing recognition for social entrepreneurs, act as a benchmark for good practice and inspire the next generation.

All nominations are assessed by a panel of experts before 55 are selected for inclusion in the final Index.

Organised by UMi, in partnership with Social Enterprise Mark, Inspiring Women Changemakers and the School for Social Entrepreneurs, Chief Executive of UMi, Nicki Clark, explained:

Over many years, UMi has been celebrating and inspiring entrepreneurship across the UK.

As part of this focus, the UK Social Entrepreneur Index is a celebration of entrepreneurs running businesses with social purposes who we hope will also act as beacons of inspiration for others to encompass positive social impact.

We’ve been delighted with the response and quality of entries and in it’s second year we have doubled the Index and the entrepreneurs recognised.

It has been a tough few months for many organisations who put social impact above profit, so the launch of the Index is a welcome piece of good news.
